Welcome to Rivertree Lodge, a secluded mountain retreat set on 17 acres along the Blue River, just north of Breckenridge. Surrounded by natural beauty, this spacious log home offers inviting indoor and outdoor living spaces for an unforgettable Rocky Mountain getaway in any season.

The impressive great room captures the warmth and spirit of a classic Colorado ski lodge with soaring beams, a massive stone fireplace, comfortable leather seating, and large picture windows framing the forest and river views. Step onto the deck for an al fresco meal with the sounds of the river as background music in warmer months. During winter, settle in front of the roaring fire as the snow falls outside. Perhaps the musicians in the group will provide some entertainment on the home’s historic piano – once played by the legendary Old West figure Doc Holliday in the nearby mining town of Leadville.

Cooking also comes with a view in the spacious kitchen, featuring beautiful wood cabinetry, high-end appliances, gas range, two dishwashers and counter seating for five. Gather the group around the dining table, with seating for 10 and plenty of room for memorable meals together.

Upstairs, let the sounds of the river lull you to sleep in the primary suite. The king bedroom features a fireplace, TV, and private deck overlooking the river, along with an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo and single vanity. An adjacent loft provides a quiet spot to relax and read or catch up on some work at the desk.

Three additional bedrooms are located on the lower level, including two bunk rooms that make Rivertree Lodge especially well-suited for families and groups with children. One bunk room features three twin over twin bunk beds, plus another twin bunk with a sofa below. Its ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower and double vanity. The second bunk room offers two twin over twin bunks, plus a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo and double vanity.

A third lower-level bedroom features a king bed and access to a bathroom with a tub/shower combo and single vanity that also opens to the hallway.

Get ready for the ultimate movie or game night in the lower-level family room with a big screen TV and spacious leather sectional, and card table for six players. Just outside on the patio, slip into the hot tub and end the day stargazing listening to sounds of the river flowing nearby.

Other amenities include a full laundry room, Sonos home sound system, and a gas grill.

Four-wheel drive is required in the winter months.

Regretfully, weddings and events are not permitted in Moving Mountains homes.

ABOUT THE AREA
Rivertree Lodge is centrally located in Summit County, close to both downtown Breckenridge and Frisco. Just minutes away is the Frisco Adventure Park, with snow tubing, Nordic skiing, and rail park in winter; and a bike park, skate park, and disc golf course in winter. Guests can easily access the paved bike and walking path that runs for miles throughout the area, including around Lake Dillon.

PARKING
There is space available for 4+ vehicles in the driveway. There is no garage available.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence and guest services.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.

This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
