Welcome to The Savory Lodge, a magnificent log home secluded on the banks of Gore Creek in the heart of the Vail Valley. This 8-bedroom residence offers a blend of rustic charm and contemporary luxury, making it the perfect mountain destination for family vacations, getaways with friends, or corporate retreats.
The centerpiece of the home is the great room, anchored by a soaring stone fireplace, and an impressive chandelier overhead. This inviting space is ideal for cozy evenings by the fire, sharing stories after a day on the slopes.
Unleash your inner chef in the gourmet kitchen, fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, including two dishwashers and two ice machines, ample prep space on the large island, and a butler’s pantry. There is also an outdoor propane grill. A bar area adjacent to the kitchen has a separate counter with 4 stools. The dining area is perfect for enjoying meals together. The main table accommodates 10 people with another round table seating 6 guests.
Each of the 8 bedrooms is a sanctuary, featuring refined mountain décor, plush bedding, and en-suite bathrooms, each with a single vanity and walk-in shower. There are 7 king bedrooms and one bunk room with two sets of full over full beds. All of the bedrooms have air conditioning units.
Movie and game nights can be spent in the lower-level media room with a large leather sofa and big screen TV, and a shuffleboard game. The home features a Sonos sound system. If you do have to break away from the fun and games to get some work done, you can find some quiet in one of two offices on the lower level.
An in-home gym features a Peloton bike, elliptical machine, cable cross trainer and weights.
For guests’ convenience, the home’s laundry room has two washers and two dryers.
Step outside and find yourself immersed in nature. You’re surrounded by aspen trees and evergreens, and the back deck and hot tub overlook the creek.
With its prime location just minutes from Vail Village and the slopes, The Savory Lodge provides easy access to world-class skiing, dining, and shopping while maintaining a sense of seclusion and tranquility.
A 4WD vehicle is required in winter months and drivers must be comfortable with mountain driving. To reach this home, you must drive along a dirt road and cross a narrow bridge.
Note: This home does not have garage parking but there are outdoor spaces for four vehicles.
